When I was young, I had my whole life planned out. Often telling myself, by the time I am 30 I will have the career, the house, the husband, and the kids. Only to wake up at 30 and realize some of those aspirations were yet to be checked off. Now don’t get it twisted, I have 2 degrees in social work, a career I love, feel financially stable, have a loving family/support system, and stepped out on faith to open my own private practice as well as buy my house in 2019. But even with all that, I find that there is still a void. After much prayer, I realize I am exactly where I am supposed to be. Over the past few years and through many different lenses I've learned that families come in all forms, shapes and sizes. Therefore, as I approach my 35th birthday, I have made the decision to continue chasing my dreams by becoming a Single Mother By Choice! I invite you to follow, laugh, cry, learn, and grow along with me as I embark on this journey to MOTHERHOOD!
